FACILITIES AND ARRIVAL

K-CON SUOMI 2024 will be held in Verkatehtas, which is located in the centre of Hämeenlinna (Paasikiventie 2, 13 200 Hämeenlinna).

ACCESIBILITY

The main entrance to Verkatehdas is located on the first floor of the building, on the side facing Lake Vanajavesi. The main entrance doors are automatic and the entryway is accessible for all guests. The majority of Verkatehdas’ facilities are accessible. An elevator is also available to use. Accessible toilet facilities are found on the first floor.

An assistant or support person for a disabled individual who has an EU Disability Card that is marked with the letter A will generally be allowed entry to events free of charge. 

 

If you need an assistant or support person to come along with you, please contact the event organizers in advance by email (info@kpopsuomi.fi).

ARRIVING BY BUS AND TRAIN

 

The venue is located only 700 meters from the train and bus stations.

ARRIVING BY CAR 

 

There are a total of 119 parking spaces in front of the Verkatehdas, BioRex and the bridge of Paasikiventie. Five of these are reserved for disabled persons. In addition, there are five places for the disabled in front of the Hämeenlinna Theatre. Several free short-term (max. 10 min) parking spaces are reserved and marked in front of the Verkatehdas main building and along Verkatehtaankuja for quick errands or for dropping off or picking up an individual at Verkatehdas. Paid parking is also available on Hämeenkuja.

 

Verkatehdas recommends using Keinuparkki during the event. Keinuparkki serves on Talaskuja, a few minutes’ walk from the Verkatehdas. 

 

ARRIVING BY BICYCLE

 

The bicycle parking at Verkatehdas is located close to the main doors in the area between the main building and Lake Vanajavesi.
