Apply for the Artist Alley
Applications are open for the Artist Alley on 30.04.2026 and will be open until all spots are secured.

Apply to be part of Chingucon 2026 Artist Alley! You can apply for yourself or as an collective with an another artist. Be prepared to attach a portfolio of your works in the application. The portfolio needs to be a PDF - file. Make sure we have access to your portfolio throughout the application process.

The Artist Alley is primarily for hobby level artists, who do not have a business ID or whose sales are not taxed. If you are an artist who taxes their sales or has a business ID, your correct place would be in the artisans or vendors area.

Prices

• A spot at the Artist Alley is 45€, which includes the table fee (20€) and one entrance fee (25€).

• If you’re applying with an another artist the spot is 70€.

• You can bring a sales assistant with you (1-2pcs), but you need to get them a ticket to the event for 25€. (This fee can be paid at the same time as you pay for your spot at the Artist Alley).

• Electricity (25€ + tax 25,5%) and a parking spot (8€) are not included in the price. Do let us know in your application if you need these additional services. These will be billed separately.

Artists will get entry to the Artist Alley an hour before it opens to set up their tables. More information about entry to the venue will be delivered later to the selected artists.

We prioritize these things in Chingucons’ Artist Alley selection:

1. Suitability for Chingucon; We are looking for artists, whose pieces reflect the primary themes of Chingucon (Korean music and Korean pop culture). For example fanart about K-dramas and different K-pop groups is always a big bonus in your portfolio.

2. Variety in your works; In order to provide a good experience for visitors at the Artist Alley, we prioritize artists who offer a lot of variety in their source materials, and offer a multitude of products.

3. Technical application of methods; We wish to see good quality products from start to finish.

Who is chosen and how?

8 Artists will be chosen to be at the Artist Alley. Unfortunately we do not prioritize first timers, because our choice is entirely made by the applications and the attached portfolio.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee working with the exhibitors hall manager. Our exhibitors hall manager does hold the final say in the matter.

Information for artists who apply

• You’re responsible for the products sold at your table and for their pricing.

• Table size is 70cm x 140cm. 

• K-18 Material (R- rated): You are not allowed to sell any products that are geared towards adults.

• AI-generated art: Art pieces made with the help of AI are not allowed to be sold at the event. If AI art is found at a table during the event, the vendor will be asked to leave.

• If for any reason you’re not able to participate in the event or you wish to decline your Artist Alley spot, please contact our exhibitors hall manager at myynti@kpopsuomi.fi.

• If you won’t decline your spot at the Artist Alley and do not show up, you’re still required to pay the table fee. Please let us know well in advance if you have to decline your spot, since it will open up for an another artist to take your place.
