1VERSE - LOOP [Song Review]
1VERSE is officially back with their highly anticipated single, "LOOP," released on September 11, 2026, and I must say that this song is truly special. If you haven't had the time to hear it yet, the whole track is built around the concept of a retro arcade—cleverly representing that annoying, highly relatable feeling of not getting the win you came to get.
As someone with ADHD, this song is an absolute banger. For my brain, it really scratches that hidden itch. Even though there is so much happening in the background of the song, it didn't feel too messy or overwhelming. Instead, the song gives a profound wave of nostalgia, especially for people born in the '90s who grew up surrounded by these type of game sounds. The song is just different—it gives you all the nostalgic feels while still sounding entirely fresh and unique.
I must admit that this is one of those songs that did end up on my playlist for sure, and I've been listening to it on loop ever since it dropped.
The members of 1VERSE took a direct part in writing and composing the track. Songwriting and composition credits include members KENNY, NATHAN, AITO, and SEOK.
They also had an absolutely amazing team working alongside them to bring this unique track to life:
Adrian McKinnon: Known for his massive work with K-pop giants like EXO, SHINee, and NCT 127
Skylar Mones: The brilliant producer whose legendary credits include Dua Lipa's iconic Future Nostalgia album.
Visual & Performance Direction: The striking visual direction was managed by Nomal Logic, perfectly paired with sharp, high-energy choreography from Team SAME (TAMJIN & JONGHO) and performance direction by CANO.
Go give it a listen—just don't blame me when you find yourself stuck in the Loop.
